Hi Jim, its been a while since I looked at the galleries. Very glad to see that you appear to have stopped using the highest iso you could set. The tonal range in this looks superb. A very ordinary image that pleases ones eye tremendously. I love the inclusion of the detail in the bottom left to break up the bland beach. I think that this probably ranks as the best picture that I have seen of yours, surpassing even the very good image of the tall ships that you got. A shame that you cannot get to the Meet so that we could see the print.

Really nice dramatic tonal values Jim. I too find the Foveon images translate into B+W really well.
